This lift kit can be configured with:
- SPC Upper Control Arms
- Bilstein 5100 front shocks
- Front old man emu medium to heavy-duty lift coils
- Rear extended Bilstein 5100 shocks allowing for longer travel
- Rear old man emu coils ranging from medium to heavy duty
885/889 medium coils = no aftermarket front/rear weight
887/898 heavy coils = you are running front/rear weight
If you are looking for a nice way to lift your 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner without breaking the bank, the Stage 1 Lift Kit from Bilstein is a great way to start. Whether you have added weight or not, the Stage 1 Kit will fit your needs to achieve 2.5” of lift on your 5th Gen.
With the Stage 1 Lift there are two options, the first for those of you with a stock 5th Gen. This includes Bilstein 5100’s w/ OME 885 coils, as well as OME 889 rear coils. These will give your ride a nice smooth feel, while also giving it the lift you desire for on and off-road performance.
Option 2 gives you a more heavier weight coil. For those of you with bumpers, armor, and other add-ons you will want to go with this option. You still get the Bilstein 5100’s, but the heavier coils in front, OME 887, and rear OME 898, make sure you can handle whatever is on your vehicle for on and off-road performance.
Front shocks must be used on lowest setting.
Front shocks will need to be assembled - top hats are re-used from your stock setup. Many shops are able to compress and swap the top hats on.
We are using the coils to achieve lift, not the shocks, moving the perch up on the front shocks will be more than 3″ of lift, it will ride rough and void warranty.
